ENJOY ABUNDANCE & FULL ACCESS
Nature. It’s different here.
Stand on the high bluff shores of our community and look out across the Cape Fear River. That’s when you’ll see it: nature, and nothing but. From our natural, spacious homesites—which are incredibly rare in other area master-planned communities—to preserved woodlands and abundant wildlife…the visionaries who created The Bluffs believe nature is one of the loveliest ‘neighbors’ you can have.
Explore
On foot, bike or cart
There are acres and acres to explore here at The Bluffs. Set out for a morning walk among tall pines, flowering native shrubs, palmettos and oaks, filled with birdsong. Meander along a manicured path or enjoy a more rugged trek along our variety of community trails.
Venture out by bicycle and glide past stands of mature trees and The Bluffs’ pristine native-inspired landscaping. Or take your golf cart on a scenic ride. Make your way down to Riverfront Park and take in the views along this beautifully peaceful, wooded riverfront where Great Egrets and Herons gather.
This is a place where nature blends with resident-centered amenities, striking a unique balance of nature, along with ease and accessibility.
Experience
Cultivate, kayak, go crabbing
The Bluffs is your own personal riverfront playground. Here, large homesites give you room to be creative! Imagine a backyard hemmed by woodlands, with room to plant a cutting garden or raised vegetable bed.
Spend days fishing in the lake or river, or drop a crab trap along the banks at our 2-acre Riverfront Park and enjoy fresh caught crab for dinner.
Take your boat out from the boat launch or marina and feel the river breeze on your face. This natural wonderland of river and woodlands is yours to enjoy every day.
Live large
Put down roots here…
…by design, it’s easy to establish a comfortable home place here. Nearly every custom home in our 600+ acre community offers a backyard with scenic pond, lake, river or nature views. Spacious riverfront homesites offer dockable river frontage and deep-water access. And thanks to Roan Island, a natural area owned by North Carolina, your river views will always be river views — no development will occur on our neighboring banks.
This is life at The Bluffs…nature and room to breathe begins right in your own spacious backyard.
